Tomorrow you may get a working woman, but you should marry her with these facts as well.
Here is a girl, who is as much educated as you are;
Who is earning almost as much as you do;
One, who has dreams and aspirations just as you have because she is as human as you are;
One, who has never entered the kitchen in her life just like you or your Sister haven't, as she was busy in studies and competing in a system that gives no special concession to girls for their culinary achievements
One, who has lived and loved her parents & brothers & sisters, almost as much as you do for 20-25 years of her life;
One, who has bravely agreed to leave behind all that, her home, people who love her, to adopt your home, your family, your ways and even your family ,name
One, who is somehow expected to be a master-chef from day #1, while you sleep oblivious to her predicament in her new circumstances, environment and that kitchen
One, who is expected to make the tea, first thing in the morning and cook food at the end of the day, even if she is as tired as you are, maybe more, and yet never ever expected to complain; to be a servant, a cook, a mother, a wife, even if she doesn't want to; and is learning just like you are as to what you want from her; and is clumsy and sloppy at times and knows that you won't like it if she is too demanding, or if she learns faster than you;
One, who has her own set of friends, and that includes boys and even men at her workplace too, those, who she knows from school days and yet is willing to put all that on the back-burners to avoid your irrational jealousy, unnecessary competition and your inherent insecurities;
One, who can be late from work once in a while whendeadlines, just like yours, are to be met;
One, who is doing her level best and wants to make this most important, relationship in her entire life a grand success, if you just help her some and trust her;
One, who just wants one thing from you, as you are the only one she knows in your entire house - your unstinted support, your sensitivities and most importantly - your understanding, or love, if you may call it.
But not many guys understand this.......
Please appreciate "HER"
So guys, learn your lesson and appreciate the women around you.
I know you really want to tell me that I have always been good and that you really wanna appreciate me but you have this feeling that I won't like it if you do that on my blog then lemme tell you that I will love it. I enjoy when people praise me. I simple "LOVE IT" :)
And dont forget to let all the women know how important they are in your life.

Thats all true Chanz. Thanks for sharing this.
Though I beg to differ on the master chef thing.
:)
Jokes apart, I agree 100% to your post. And we should all share this text with as many people as we can. Topics like these need awareness.

Welcome to my bloh Harshita.. :) thanks for saying that...
:)
this is all so true..!! gr8 idea to share it..!! :)
@ Sneha : thanks sweety.. :)
yeah Wicked. You must send it to him. And all those men who never really appreciated what a woman can be to man. Pardon me for saying this but the pigs need to be shown the power of women...
So very true!!
But most men do not believe in it. You know why? Because they're men!! ;)
Hahaha... true Shivani... No wonder they say:
"Men will be men" (followed by a sigh and shaking the head)
I know what men are.
Men drink and are routinely unfaithful,
Can’t see beyond the end of their thing,
Have faces like hams or wrinkled cardboard
And are bold, sweaty and frightening -
I know what men are.
Men drive fast cars,
Like motorbikes,
Will kill for the sake of their pride,
Shoot off their mouths,
Fart, bellyache and grumble.
I know what men are.
Men are insane and out of control,
Vicious and vainly vainglorious.
No!
I know what men are.
Men are not like this.
Men don’t go down to the pub for a mindless drink,
Can even (apparently) sometimes think!
Men cuddle babies
And can stand up for themselves in fights
With their wives
(And sometimes win).
Men are prepared to challenge
Preconceptions
Misconceptions
Deceptions
Adulterated thinking
And Will Do What Is Right.
Men will
Go the extra mile
(And not always on a motorbike),
Men
Like to be cuddled
Like to caress
And have loving, faithful sex.
Men like emotions.
The crisp leaves of autumn,
The sound of the wind,
Cats
Machines
Stars
Women
Love
Mountains
And staying at home.
Men are not monsters.
I know what men are.
Men like to be involved with their children,
Going for walks,
Singing,
Picking their noses
Passion and commitment,
Fun,
And horsing around
(Though not necessarily horses.)
Men know how to change nappies,
Tell stories,
And create dreams.
Men are brilliant!
I know what men are.
o bhai sahab... punia. yeh kya keh diya tune... ekdum gajab... i know tune copy paste kiya hai bt phir bhi main to fan ho gayi teri... :P
:-P, :-D
super...ctrl+paste...;)
Smart Work, thats what men are good at...
punni yaar tu sai time pe ekdum sai baat bol deta hai.. ;)
Lovely post, but where are the girls like that?
One, who has bravely agreed to leave behind all that, her home, people who love her, to adopt your home, your family, your ways and even your family ,name ...do they do this?
today they want to retain their maiden name
Look after their own parents more than inlaws..they dont leave their loved ones behind..
want to follow their own traditions in in inlaws house.
but yes if a girl does all that you have mentioned, she deserves all the love and respect and care from her husband and family.
@ Sid : look at you. still appreciating what a guy had to say.... Ufffffffff...
@ @ease : ya ya... i know... i am still waiting to her what goodthings you have to say about me.. (and women in general)
@ renu : If only men had appreciated women long back, women would have never ever have questioned men and the traditions. Its sad that women had to suffer for so long and when they finally decided that they are done with the suffering, thet are now considered to be modern and ofcourse not fit for the guy's family.
No girl would have protested if they would have got happiness and support from their husbands, fathers, brothers, in laws...
If men had followed this in the past and if and only if there was nothing known as female foeticide, would there be gender inequality.
Its all related Renu ji. Its all related. Like a chain reaction. Women suffered. And now when they have found a way out of it, they are being called names..
@ renu: you have made a really valid point... we hardly find such gal who can do all this. and if one really does all this, that certainly deserves something more than just appreciation.
@ chanz: ladkiyon ko badkhaau bhaasan dena band karo. and honestly confess, do u hav any of the qualities, you mentioned in this post..??
;)
Gundagardi nai chalegi...
murdabad-murdabad..!!
@ @ease : I do not fall in this category. I am still unmarried.. :P
but yes, as a woman, I would want my husband and my inlaws to appreciate my work and help me instead of accusing me of being incapable and indirectly abusing my parents that they didnt teach me how to cook or do household chores.
lady chanz, i think the society has classified some jobs meant for different sects and we should always respect them. If u try to break that jinx, u end up in a mess.
the qualities you mentioned certaily needs appreciation (as i said in ma last comment) but dont u think, if u don get that appreciation, you (women) tend to use unfair means to get that recognition.
a general scenario -
eg: even if u don know to cook rice or daal, (the basics of cooking) u want a return gift from your husband when u cook it for the 1st time.... and likes.
I feel, a daughter always gets more attention and care than a son...but i just want to ask,
if you can ask your parents, about joining a finishing school, cant you ask dem for cookery classes too...??
have u ever gone and attended one..??
personally, i am a good cook, and know to cook almost all the basic things from biryani to salads, south indian to dhokla...
why should i learn to cook, when i can always buy them from restaurant...
(when i speak a lot, i end up in a mess..)
yes @ease. You are in a mess now. I will dedicate an entire post to this topic. You will get your answers... I have taken this personally and this is war...
Gundagardi nai chalegi...
murdabad-murdabad..!!
we will se who is a gunda and who is not... i will fight for my rights.. :P

p.s. A women might better understand a women.
@ BF : I am happy to be born in this time. But somewhere I know that since it is a male dominated society, men tend to control women...
We do not force you but we are just reminding you that we too are human beings as much as you are.. :)
@ Nipun : hahaha... Respect, respect and respect...Thank you.. :)
Hey Chanz.... i always respect women and think women power is greater than men! :D .... appreciation... yes lemme start with yu!! kudos to yu! :D... cya around
